About Gerda's Bakery
For over three decades Gerda Bailey, known as an Omaha Icon, has cooked, baked, catered and served the finest German food to her customers including some famous personalities. Many customers enjoy her hearty German entrees at lunch and dinner, but Gerda is also known for her pan-friend chicken she learned to cook in North Carolina. Gerda’s chicken is a boneless, skinless breast of chicken and pan-fried in canola oil, never deep fried, a healthy choice.
