The Council Bluffs riverfront is a place to gather, explore and experience different types of fun throughout the year. From family-friendly festivals and outdoor activities to events designed specifically for adults, the city continues to bring a variety of free experiences to River’s Edge.
On Friday, September 18, it is the grown-ups’ turn.
The seventh annual Comedy Night returns to River’s Edge Pavilion on Friday, September 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. The city partners with Backline Comedy in Omaha to bring professional stand-up comedians to the riverfront for a free outdoor show. This year’s lineup features David Kousgaard, Noe Ramirez, Lauren Vana and Quionez.
New this year, Barajas taco truck will be on site, making it easy to grab dinner and settle in for the show.
Comedy Night is one of many events offered at River’s Edge throughout the year, each designed for different audiences and interests. Due to the nature of stand-up comedy, this particular event is intended for adults ages 18 and older.
Some seating will be available on the River’s Edge Pavilion patio, but guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and arrive early to claim a spot.
Admission is free. Bring a chair, grab some tacos and spend Friday night laughing on the riverfront.
